MR98H Working principle: Relief or back pressure valves respond to changes in upstream pressure. The pressure change is applied below the valve diaphragm through the alignment hole in the valve body or through an external control pipeline. When the pressure increases above the spring setting value, the pressure below the valve diaphragm will overcome the spring compression force, causing the valve plug to move away from the valve core. The flow path through the valve will open, releasing excessive pressure. When the upstream pressure drops below the set point, the valve will close. The differential pressure relief valve is used to maintain the pressure difference between the controlled pressure of the system and the loading pressure. The spring setting determines the pressure difference. The differential pressure relief valve responds to controlled pressure and loading pressure, opening or closing as these pressures change. If the loading pressure increases, the pressure on the upper side of the valve membrane will also increase. The valve plug will move closer to the valve core, limiting the flow through the relief valve. When the loading pressure decreases, the pressure on the upper side of the valve membrane also decreases. Then the valve plug will be removed from the valve core, allowing greater flow to pass through the differential pressure relief valve (entering the atmosphere or returning to the system). The differential pressure relief valve will open or close as the controlled pressure changes. This can maintain the pressure difference between controlled and uncontrolled pressures. |
