The burner controller IFS258 is used for automatic ignition and monitoring of the combustion system, as well as flameout protection functions. It achieves safety interlocking functions with the ignition transformer, solenoid valve, and flame monitor. 1. The burner controller IFS258 can have LED digital display. 2. 1, Overview
The IFS258 burner automatic controller is a controller that directly starts and monitors the operation of the burner; Ionizing flame monitoring or ultraviolet UV monitoring can be used, and the mode of ignition and monitoring using a common electrode can also be used for operation; This controller is suitable for systems that do not require blowing or are controlled by others, with a direct ignition power of no more than 350KW and a burner with combustion air; There are two modes available: local switch and remote button reset. This controller complies with the European gas application standard EN298.
2, Technical indicators

1, Installation and wiring precautions:
1. The power supply should use fixed wiring, and the live wire L and zero wire N cannot be connected in reverse, otherwise it may cause equipment damage.
2. The solenoid valve and ignition transformer are driven by a 220AC power output from the controller, with a maximum output current of 2A and each output current not exceeding 2.5A.
3. Combustion indicator contact (terminals 13-14) and fault signal contact (terminals 8-9): maximum current: 2A, maximum voltage: 253V.
4. The maximum working voltage of the UV ultraviolet flame detector is 230V, and there is no internal fuse protector.
5. When using a single electrode, the 7 # terminal of the burner and controller must be grounded, otherwise it may cause equipment damage.
6. When using a UV probe, terminal 7 should not be grounded.
7. Terminals 11 and 12 are already connected internally in parallel.
8. Installation: U-shaped 35mm guide rails can be used for installation, with a length of 113mm, or screws can be directly installed on the two mounting holes on the bottom plate, with a spacing of 70mm between the mounting holes. This controller is 113 wide, 75 high, and 120 deep.
9. The detection line should be routed separately using plastic cable protection tubes, and should be placed separately from the main cable during remote transmission to avoid external electromagnetic interference. When using ionization monitoring and UV monitoring methods and the detection line length is>5 meters, it is recommended to use a shielded cable with a voltage of>500VAC for the detection line. When using a single electrode detection method and the distance is>5 meters, it is recommended to use a shielded cable with a voltage of>20KV.
10. Before powering on the controller, the two fixing screws on the controller must be tightened.
11. During the second ignition, it is necessary to wait for 20 seconds after the alarm light turns red to avoid overload damage.
